About Us
Rotary Club of Madras Midtown formed in 1972, is one among the 34,000 clubs of Rotary International. Rotary International was founded in 1905 in Chicago, USA, with the objective of professionals networking amongst themselves, engaging Rotary and changing lives of people in the community.
Over 4 decades, RCMM continues to serve the community through: Health Care, Literacy & Education, Water & Sanitation, Integrated Rural Development, Environmental programs, Youth Development and many more initiatives.
Rotary Club of Madras Midtown’s Long Term initiatives are: Cancer Care, Stop TB Awareness Programme, Village Development, Digital Literacy Programme, Go-Green – planting of trees

Cancer Care
The Rotary Cancer Research Foundation, a trust founded by the members of RCMM in the year 1995 has the objectives of creating awareness of cancer, conducting cancer screening camps, providing medical assistents to needy patients.
Village Development
Since 1979, RCMM, has developed a village through its adoption programme, assisting in improving the economy and social lifestyle of the villagers. This is our story of BILLAKUPPAM, a village with 100% literacy and almost everyone employed. RAKKAMPALAYAM is our next village.

GO GREEN tree sappling plantation is a long term project of RCMM wherein 1000+ trees were planted across Tamil Nadu
